RESIDENTS
The residents at Heritage Arms share a common
vision -- living in a friendly, impeccably cared for
and luxurious environment. They have found an apartment
where they can live very comfortably, enjoy their privacy
or the company of other tenants in the many social
rooms and recreational areas provided. The following
is a common scenario.
A
couple who has just celebrated their 34th wedding
anniversary, recently joined our “family”
at Heritage Arms. They raised and educated three
children, two daughters and one son - all are now
“out of the nest” - pursuing their own
careers, marriages and life styles.
The couple has planned well for their retirement
which they contemplate taking within the next year
or so. Their 4 bedroom Colonial, beautifully landscaped,
sprawling grounds and swimming pool have become
too burdensome, time consuming and expensive to
maintain and still have the time and money to pursue
the leisurely lifestyle they had dreamed of in their
“Golden Years.” Rather than spend their
time and money on home improvements, maintenance
and repairs, they want to travel, take vacations,
enjoy golfing and skiing, as well as their children
and grandchildren. Or, they may be actively involved
in social, community or church groups and just want
the time to enjoy these or more sedentary past times.
At
the same time, they were looking for a spacious,
impeccably cared for home where they could continue
their customary lifestyle of entertaining family
and friends. Now free of real estate taxes, another
financial burden, coupled with their affordable
home which includes a myriad of services - they
can now enjoy the good life they have looked forward
to for so many years. Ask their children how they
feel about this transition and you’ll soon
learn how happy they are for their parents –
seeing them enjoying life to the fullest and no
one burdened with the ongoing cares connected to
home ownership.
STAFF
At Heritage Arms we take
great pride in the caliber of our highly qualified
and reliable staff. Each has been selected for his/her
demonstrated strengths, skills, friendliness and
ability to work well in a diverse environment. It
is extremely important that each staff person exude
a compassionate and helpful attitude both to one
another, and to our tenants. They must exhibit leadership
capabilities and yet work together harmoniously
as a team. Many of the Heritage Arms “team”
has worked together in the parent company for several
years. We are proud of our high retention rate which
is, of course, most reassuring to our tenants. The
tenants at Heritage Arms are assured that no request
of a staff person is either too small or too large.
Tenants needs will be attended to promptly and courteously.
